ABOUT

Nicholas Koutouras is a banking executive known for his creative, practical approach to his work. When something strategic or innovative is happening, Nick is usually in the room, entrusted by executive leadership to drive critical work because of his reliability and ability to see the larger purpose.

As Vice President of Product Management, Nick leads Q2's Relationship Pricing and Profitability unit, built around PrecisionLender. His work spans product innovation, go-to-market strategy, and execution.

Before Q2, Nick was Head of Finance for Wealth Management at U.S. Bank, where he led relationship pricing for the wholesale banking unit using PrecisionLender. He joined U.S. Bank through its 2022 acquisition of MUFG Union Bank, where he served as Business Unit CFO for Commercial, Business and Investment Banking.

Earlier, Nick held leadership roles in planning, product development, acquisitions, and business unit management at Bank of America, Countrywide, Jackson National Life Insurance, and El Camino Resources. He began his career at KPMG in the financial services audit practice in Detroit.

Outside of work, Nick previously served on the board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California, and contributes to his profession through Financial Executives International at the national level as Secretary.

A fitness enthusiast, Nick enjoys running, Pilates, and skiing. He is also a passionate photographer, a pursuit first sparked by his father and rekindled by a journey to Japan. See his work in the Other Interests section.

He holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in accounting (the latter in accounting and information systems), both from Michigan State University. He lives in Austin.

Advancing the Profession

Financial Executives International connects senior-level financial executives by defining the profession, exchanging ideas about best practices, educating members & others, and working with the government to improve the general economy.

Since 2011, Nick has been actively contributing to FEI's mission, serving in volunteer leadership roles such as Programs Officer and President in Los Angeles. During his tenure, he has spearheaded the creation of compelling and thought-provoking programs for FEI Los Angeles. Notable highlights include keynote presentations by influential figures such as the Controllers of the State of California and Los Angeles, renowned economists, innovators, entertainers, and financial thought leaders.

On July 1, 2026, he became Secretary of FEI National, continuing his work at the national level building a community where peers help peers and spark inspiration for the next generation of finance professionals.

Community

Speaking

Nick is active in the community as a volunteer leader for the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House.  He has proudly served as Trustee President and Chair for the charity’s largest fundraiser, the annual Walk for Kids.

 

The Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House provides a safe, supportive home away from home for families of children receiving live saving treatment in nearby medical facilities.  Nick is passionate about helping families when confronting the staggering reality of a seriously ill child.  He works closely with corporate and community leaders in securing the resources to operate the facility, and provides leadership to the program.
